Game Informer’s next issue is focused on Sword & Shield and to celebrate, they’ve been allowed to release various bits of information about the upcoming games, Pokémon Sword & Shield.
- They have revealed reveals that autosave is in Pokémon Sword & Shield, but it can be turned off if you do so wish.
- They also confirm that HMs do not return in the game.
- Pokémon cut from Sword and Shield’s National Pokédex will return in the future.
- Sword And Shield’s Max Raid Battles Could Be Among Pokémon’s Most Challenging Encounters
- They also reveal that EXP Share is automatic, without the use of an item in Pokémon Sword & Shield. It’s currently unclear if it will be able to be turned off.
- The interview implies more aspects of a Pokémon, previously left to breeding (hinted as “a personality parameter”) will be changeable in Pokémon Sword & Shield
- There will be 18 Gyms in Pokémon Sword and Shield, spread across a minor league and a major league.
